Morse is a piece for Large ensemble based on a created new morse code, using conductor movements and
metachronal rhythm (wavy movements produced by the sequential action (as opposed to synchronisation).
These movements produce the appearance of a travelling wave. The piece is also uses movement detector
apps on phones. Some direct sounds are produced by the phones used as an instrument.

The morse code has been created, following the shape a conductor draws in the air to write a letter, attributing
one or two different movements to each letter of the alphabet

The first performance was given by the Guildhall Large Ensemble, conducted by Jack Sheen, at the Guildhall School Music & Drama, in London (2019)
