lava_cycle

Lava_cycle is a piece for small ensemble, fixed tape, phones and light system. The piece is based on the harmonic and textural evolution of chord progressions and will aim at engaging a participative audience. Each musician is represented by a colour (red/pink/blue) which creates a visual experience for the audience through minimalist musical environments.

The audience will need to use their phones in order to participate in the piece and become a "player" too. They will need to access the webpage of the piece which can be done easily via a QR code communicated prior to the start of the piece (the home page of the website gives direct access to the webpage of the piece on the day of the performance). This implies that an internet connection is necessary to access the page that will allow the audience to take part in the show. Please note that the webpage that enables the auditor to produce sounds even can be used off line - a stable internet connection is therefore required not for the entity of the show, but only at the start, so long as the audience can open the link.
