cannibal. questions the notion of reality and clones through the main character singing their desire to reach a sense of truth in their daily life, a life in which the nature is copied towards its extremes.

The general fixed tape presents a distorted industrial soundscape composed of electronics and electric guitar. It contrast with the organic attitude of the main singer, singing over a noisy 'machine'.

commissioned by Lotte Betts-Dean and was premiered at the Britten Studio (Snape Malting) for the Britten Pears Art Festival on the 8th of June 2022.
