Will inside the BOX is a piece for Large Ensemble and Tape.

In 1973, William Doane, a few days old baby, became the subject of a psycho-physiological experience called

‘The Negative Box’. Doane lived inside this house, ‘the Box’, for the first twenty years of his life. The first

level of the Box is fully designed of negative chromatic perspectives. The rooms are entirely in negative,

including lights, shadows and staff entering the house. The second level is a normal level, in positive, designed

on the same architecture as the first level. William Doane is now a composer.

Will inside the BOX reveals Will’s last interview, his experience and artistic aesthetics.
